Do you remember your Middle School and High School days? Wow, what a time of growth, mess ups, successes, and changes. Students are going through all kinds of things during these years, some very good and some very bad. We want to experience these things with the youth of today, all the while bringing a Biblical, Christ-centered voice, and we do this with great zeal. We, the Bridge, are passionate about being on board with God’s mission, and specifically His mission with Middle and High School students.

We encourage parents to be consistent mentors, and leaders to their youth. We do not try to fulfill that role of or for the parent. We do however, want to give parents the tools to successfully, and faithfully fulfill this task.

Youth today are bombarded with all kinds of junk that dumb them down. In fact, a recent study was done asking students what was the ultimate thing. The most common answer was, “whatever”. This is not the type of information that we are putting out. We are committed to the Bible, we are committed to Christ, and we are committed to a life changing journey with Jesus Christ. The youth at the Bridge are taught something more than “whatever”, we have thrown out the fluff and substituted it with faithfulness, we have taken the trend of entertainment and replaced it with an energetic commitment to Christ, and we have taken the expectation that youth cannot comprehend the deep things of God and we have replaced it with a solid understanding of His Word.

Weekly the youth meet for a Bible study and teaching time and gender-specific small groups. The Bible study meets on Sunday afternoons and is currently on the Gospel of John. The small groups meet on a weeknight. Monthly, the youth participate in an outreach project in Spring Hill and a time of fellowship which may range from ultimate Frisbee to a movie night.
